Weekend Crusaders

Exploring Singapore with Patricia K.

To DJ and GOASEAN tv travel host, Patricia K, long weekends are made for “Exploring and experiencing. Being spontaneous and doing something you have never done or seen before. .. or sometimes just taking a really long nap and gaming on the Xbox.. Either one for me.”

Here she shares with us her most memorable experiences and favourite spots in the country.

“I am quite adventurous so I loved that we went to Sentosa and did the Climbmax and Flying Fox (Mega Adventure Park), which was super fun. I also got to go and try the G-Max reverse bungy in Clarke Quay … I LOVED THAT! For those of you who needs a bit of an adrenaline rush.”

“I know it sounds super touristy but honestly, Sentosa would be the location I would recommend and of course Clarke Quay – there are super nice places to sit and enjoy some food food and drinks. It is a fun experience with family or with friends.”

“Those are the more ‘touristy’ areas. There are also some great sky bars which is amazing because of the unique skyline that Singapore offers. Marina Bay Sands is a must and I have to be honest, I loved Universal Studios Singapore (at Resorts World Sentosa) as well.

“If Malaysians would love to have some food, I suggest to go to True Blue Cuisine on Armenian Street. – it is Peranakan cuisine. The atmosphere is charming and the house is like 100 years old or so.”

“I also love street food and Singapore has a lot of amazing places to have a good dish for a good price. Malaysians are really in love with food, so Singapore would be the perfect spot to go and explore favourite eats.”

“I am still dying to go and visit the dolphins in Sentosa – I am planning to go very soon. You can swim with them and get personal with them as well!!! I love animals.”

“Singapore is a city to really enjoy. Some amazing festivals and music to explore such as Laneway Festival Singapore which I hope to visit in 2016.”

“I always keep up to date with what is going on (in Singapore) because I went to Singapore Night Festival this year and it was such an amazing experience. Artistic, beautiful and such a unique display of art and performances.”
