Singapore is filled with great eateries from local hawker stalls to Michelin star restaurants. Who would guess that hiding amidst these eateries are some awesome places operated by famous actors and actresses in Singapore? Sink your teeth into this!
Bar Naked & FRY Bistro by Irene Ang
Do you recognise this face? BINGO! That’s Irene Ang of Phua Chu Kang fame, having starred alongside Gurmit Singh’s Phua Chu Kang as his wife, Rosie. Beyond acting, Ang is also the Founder and CEO of FLY Entertainment, Bar Naked, and FRY Bistro.
Why the strange name, you ask? Like its namesake, the walls of the bar are stripped naked, with minimal decorations, giving the bar a minimalist look. Bar Naked not only serves amazing cocktails but also a variety of European dishes. Some of their cocktail top picks are Something Like Lassie, which is fruity with a hint of ginger beer, and Dirty and Naked, which pairs up Reyka vodka and Balvenie Double Wood whiskey for a real kick. This place is definitely a good pick for a Friday night out!

Besides serving mocktails and cocktails, FRY also offers a variety of snacks and dishes, such as Auntie Ang’s Wings, Pig Trotter Bee Hoon with shiitake mushrooms and roasted chestnuts, and Kimchi Pork Belly Mac & Cheese.
