No Better Place To Be

Has it really been five years since Gardens by the Bay was first unveiled? The now-iconic gardens has been playing host to the best events that Singapore has to offer, ranging from local to international events. It is also a great place to hang out with friends and family while engaging in a multitude of activities, like kite flying and movie screenings. Here’s what you can expect this month.

Gardens Extravaganza Special

This dazzling evening show features aerial performers and dancers performing against a projected backdrop mapped against the Supertrees. The show charts the journey of the Gardens, from the planting of the seed of an idea to its growth into the iconic attraction it is today, and culminating in celebratory pyrotechnics and drone formations representing the Gardens’ future.

This unique projection mapping is bound to draw attention with its futuristic design, placing Singapore as a leading futuristic city.

Fun Zone

The future is here with virtual reality (VR) games and 3D pen art available for everyone to try out. With VR now a booming industry with plenty of possibilities, expect a totally immersive, one-of-a-kind experience that’s bound to shape the future in unimaginable ways. Feeling artsy and crafty? Try your hand at 3D pen art, by using 3D pens to draw and create new designs and objects. Let your imagination run free and break new grounds.

Parade of Wonder

While you’re enjoying the atmosphere at Gardens by the Bay, keep an eye out for roving dancers and percussionists. Dressed in eye-catching costumes and skillfully drumming out rhythmic beats, these performers are hard to miss. Follow their cue and make your way through the Gardens for an energetic LED performance that’ll take your breath away.

Location: Roving, beginning at Golden Garden

Movie by the Lawn

Bring your picnic blankets and set up camp at the Lawn of the Supertree Grove. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the animated film Storks with friends and family. Forgot to bring popcorn? Fret not, as there are food stalls set up around the Lawn serving finger food. Just remember to bag and trash your food wrappings after the show.
